  • Optimise Your Eating Window: Focus on nutrient-dense foods during your eating window. Include leafy greens, colourful fruits and vegetables, lean proteins, healthy fats (avocados, nuts, seeds, olive oil), and whole grains.
  • Hydrate Wisely: Drink plenty of warm water throughout the day, especially during your fasting window. For an added boost, try adding lemon or a pinch of Himalayan salt to your water to replenish electrolytes.
  • Move Your Body: Engage in regular physical activity, but listen to your body and adjust the intensity as needed, especially during fasting. Gentle exercises like yoga, tai chi, or walking are particularly beneficial.
  • Prioritise Sleep: Aim for 7–9 hours of quality sleep each night. Rest is essential for energy production and overall wellbeing.
  • Manage Stress: Chronic stress can drain your energy. Incorporate techniques like meditation, deep breathing, or spending time in nature to reduce stress levels.

Enhancing Natural Detoxification

Intermittent fasting naturally supports your body’s detoxification processes, but these tips can take it to the next level:

  • Support Your Liver: Your liver is crucial for detoxification. Include liver-friendly foods such as beets, carrots, cruciferous vegetables (broccoli, cauliflower, kale), and garlic in your meals.
